In Hunan, there are many types of rice noodles. Hunan people are born to fall in love with rice noodles which have become a part of their lives. People in different parts of Hunan enjoy different types of rice noodles.

湖南米粉有很多种,每个地方的米粉都不一样。湖南人爱嗦粉,因为它是融进生活里,骨子里的东西。而且在湖南的很多地方,都有着属于自己的一碗粉。

Changsha Rice Noodles

长沙米粉

People in Changsha are used to eat two liang (100g) of rice noodles for their daily breakfast. Most people prefer flat rice noodles as flat noodles can better absorb the taste from soup and ingredients than round rice noodles. There are countless shops that serve rice noodles, of which the tastes are largely identical but with minor differences.

长沙人习惯早上嗦一碗粉,米粉一碗是二两,这个是标准配置。大多数人偏爱扁粉,因为扁粉比圆粉更容易入味。长沙的米粉店无数家,风味一脉相承,却又各具微妙差别。
