A thousand years of Tai Ping Street, a history of Changsha.

太平街 位于 天心区五一大道太平街口 ，全长375米 ， 是长沙古城保留原有街巷里最完整的一条街 。

 Tai Ping Street is located in Tianxin District at the entrance of Wuyi Avenue, with a total length of 375 meters, and is the most complete street in Changsha's ancient city that retains its original streets and alleys.

历史的厚重与市井的烟火在这里碰撞 ， 太平古街成了千年“潮”街。

The histor y  and the life  collide here, and Taiping Street has become a “ chic ” street  with a thousand years of history .

行走在古街，能直观感受到标志性古建筑符号所带来的古典视觉冲击，更能领略到历史积淀所散发的文气与韵味。

Walking in t he  street,  people  can intuitively feel the classical visual impact  brought by iconic ancient architectural symbols  and can appreciate the historical precipitation emanating from the cultural atmosphere and flavor.

太平街 承载着展示湖湘文化魅力、体现传统商业民俗风情的重任。

Taiping Street carries the important task of displaying the charm of Hunan culture and reflecting the traditional commercial folk customs.

鳞次栉比的商铺、现代文创的景观、眼花缭乱的美食、望不到头的人潮，千年老街焕发出青春热烈的活力。

With numerous shops , modern cultural and creative landscape s , dazzling food and endless crowds, the thousand-year-old street is glowing with youthful and enthusiastic vitality.

年轻人的活力和老长沙的生活气和睦共存，从旧到新，岁月在这里汇聚、交融，然后，又衍生出新的篇章。

The vigor of young people and the vitality of old Changsha coexist in harmony, and from old to new, the years converge and mingle here, and then, a new chapter is derived.

两千年来，太平街蕴藏了种种无声的生长 。这种生长， 是城市的生长，历史的生长，文化的生长，也是生活方式的生长。

Over the past two thousand years, Taiping Street has been harboring a variety of silent growth. It  is the growth of the city, the growth of history, the growth of culture and the growth of lifestyle.
