"Colors of Autumn in 2024 - Sunflowers Exhibition" Opens at Hunan Botanical Garden

The "Colors of Autumn in 2024 - Sunflowers Exhibition" recently opened at the Hunan Botanical Garden. More than 100,000 sunflowers of different shapes and sizes are in full bloom at the World Famous Flower Square.

There are more than 100,000 sunflowers of over 10 varieties on display, including Harvest Fun, Vincent 2 Fresh, and Good Luck, with a planting area of nearly 20,000 square meters. The best viewing period for sunflowers is from mid-September to early October. Such varieties as Little Star and Little Fresh have entered the viewing period.

The "Colors of Autumn in 2024 - Sunflowers Exhibition" is one of the characteristic four-season flower shows of the Hunan Botanical Garden. In addition to the sunflowers show, there will be an osmanthus flowers exhibition in late September, and a colorful foliage plants exhibition from late October to December. Meanwhile, the garden will cooperate with the Changsha Song and Dance Theatre to host welfare concerts. A series of study activities will be carried out, such as insects watching, plants observation, and knowledge popularization. The garden will also hold exclusive welfare activities and other autumn-themed activities for fans. The autumn season events will last until the end of October.
