“The Ninth Year of Yonghe” is China's first original dance drama about the history of calligraphy, inspired by the Eastern Jin Dynasty calligrapher Wang Xizhi's ancient masterpiece, “Lanting Preface”, and re-interpreted from the perspective of modern youth “Geng”, who is fond of calligraphy, the history of this piece of writing, which is known as “the world's first line of writing”.
