The Billu Electronics Changsha Industrial Park Project went operational in Wangcheng Economic and Technological Development Zone on October 13, heralding a new advancement for the intelligent terminal industry in Wangcheng District, Changsha City. This will inject new strong impetus into the city to build an advanced manufacturing hub of national importance and a global research and development center city. Changsha Vice Mayor Gao Wenqi attended and announced the start of the project's operations.

The project was registered in January this year, with a total investment of 500 million yuan. Plant buildings spanning 18,000 square meters have been leased for the research, development, and production of motors that drive mobile phone cameras. The annual output value is expected to reach 1 billion CNY. The project is among the first batch of projects supported by the Zhenwang Industrial Fund to attract investment.

In the past five years, Wangcheng Economic and Technological Development Zone has adhered to the operation idea of "combining mother and child funds and serving investment attraction", setting up six funds with a total capital of more than 6 billion yuan. The zone also explored the Wangcheng model of "industrial fund + capital investment", and introduced a large number of high-quality enterprises and flagship projects, such as Keyking Recycling, Fullriver High Technology, and Hengkai Intelligent. Industrial clusters featuring Wangcheng District's one characteristic and two major industries—intelligent terminals, advanced manufacturing of new materials, and food and medicine, continue to expand here. The driving force for high-quality regional economic development continues to grow.
