11月1日，湘江首艘500客位新能源主题游轮“橘洲号”于近日在广东省中山市江龙船艇造船基地顺利吉水。该船完工交付后将进一步提升长沙湘江水上旅游品质，开启湘江水上旅游客运绿色发展新篇章。

“橘洲号”为全钢制结构，总长49.99米，型宽14.8米，型深3.3米，吃水1.5米，最大载客量500客位，采用柴电混合动力推进，具备高效、环保、节能的特点，设计航速达到较高水平。

近年来，长沙市水运事务中心积极推动新能源船舶更新、推进船舶污染物免费接收、港口岸电及船舶受电设施建设、新能源技术应用、港口设施环保提质改造等工作，助力港航企业绿色低碳转型，有力地维护了辖区水域环境清洁，推动了水运绿色低碳发展。（来源：三湘都市报）

The “ Orange Island ” is an all-steel structure with an overall length of 49.99 meters, a width of 14.8 meters, a depth of 3.3 meters, a draught of 1.5 meters, a maximum passenger capacity of 500 passengers, and adopts a diesel-electric hybrid power propulsion, which is highly efficient, environmentally friendly, energy-saving, and is designed to reach a higher level of speed.
