An event dedicated to promoting refined art on campuses in Hunan was launched at the Hunan Grand Theatre on November 5. The drama Shenhai Yangniuren, or Deep Sea Cattlemen, premiered simultaneously. The drama tells the story of Hunan-born scientist Wan Buyan, who led a team to develop the "Manatee" deep-sea drilling rig system, and made pioneering contributions to the research and development of deep-sea exploration technologies and equipment in China. Fifty outstanding plays and 18 boutique concerts have been solicited for the event. A variety of art exchange activities such as performances, art lectures, art salons, and art experience classes will be carried out in colleges and universities as well as primary and secondary schools in the province during the 2024-2025 academic year.
