The winners of the London Design Awards sponsored by the International Awards Associate (IAA) were announced recently. The entry "Planning and Design of the Guitang River Constitution Theme Park in Yuhua District, Changsha City" submitted by Zhongjian Huxiang Design Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the China Construction 5th Engineering Bureau, stood out from thousands of works around the world and won the silver award.

Organized by the global creative platform DRIVENx DESIGN, the London Design Awards is among the most influential honors in the UK design community, involving various professional categories such as landscape, architecture, interior, and more, with participants spread across three continents.

The Guitang River Constitution Theme Park officially opened to the public on December 4, China's National Constitution Day this year. The park covers an area of about 36,000 square meters, with a construction area of about 1,900 square meters. It is currently the largest theme park in Hunan Province, with the most comprehensive functionality of any constitution-themed park. The park encompasses four parts: the citizen square area, the constitution oath-taking ceremony area, the constitution publicity and education exhibition area, and the rule-of-law practice interactive area. It has become a new cultural landmark of Hunan Province to publicize Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law and to promote and respect the constitution.

By integrating flood management, water retention, and ecological education into the design, the park embodies sustainable urban ecosystems. The design captures the essence of Chinese garden aesthetics, offering a multi-dimensional experience where landscape layers harmonize with the river's natural features, creating a dynamic space for public interaction and community events.
