The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) recently released the 2024 5G Factory Directory, with 400 projects from across the country shortlisted. Sany's 5G fully-connected factory in Changsha was included in the directory, making it the only 5G factory selected in the city.

The Sany 5G factory in Changsha has built a mobile 5G network-based highly secure network platform that offers reliable connections and high-performance transmission. This platform enhances the supply capacity of industrial internet, achieves full coverage and seamless integration of the network in the factory, and further ensures precise control and workplace safety.

Coupled with 5G network characteristics, such as high bandwidth, low latency, multiple connections, and high concurrency, the factory has created thirty 5G application scenarios in 5 categories, namely, intelligent storage, intelligent logistics, intelligent energy, intelligent manufacturing, and intelligent operation and maintenance. They are applied in the processes of energy management, warehousing and logistics, production and manufacturing, and operation and maintenance.

Apart from industrial digital upgrading through 5G private network, terminal access security control, flexible time control, and 5G private network visualization are urgently needed by enterprises. Sany's 5G fully connected factory has created workplace safety application scenarios such as on-site safety supervision, wind turbine remote control, and material supervision.

In recent years, Sany has vigorously implemented the strategy of "digital and intelligent transformation", fully leveraging new-generation information and communication technologies represented by 5G, actively promoting the construction of 5G factories, and accelerating the innovative development of "5G+ Industrial Internet". To date, seven Sany factories have been included in the MIIT lists of 5G factories.
