The main venue event of the 2024 National New Year Mountain Climbing and Fitness Conference will be held in Wulingyuan District, Zhangjiajie City on December 28. Nearly 3,000 outdoor enthusiasts from across the country will participate in the event to celebrate the new year.
The event features a professional group and an amateur group. The professional group is expected to ascend about 1,092 meters, passing through scenic spots including Liuqi Pavilion, Shouzhang Peak, Star-picking Deck, and Bridge Pier Site. Participants will have the chance to take in a spectacular panorama view, and offer wishes for a healthy new year.
The amateur group will walk along the scenic spots such as Golden Whip Stream, Zicao Pond, and Shuiraosimen. Climbers will admire the breathtaking views of grotesque peaks while enjoying the joy of sports.
