A fine arts and calligraphy exhibition celebrating the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China kicked off at the Hunan Cultural Center on December 27, 2024. A total of 200 pieces of calligraphy and painting works are on display.

The exhibits include 160 pieces of art and calligraphy works selected from the provincial submissions and 40 pieces of specially-invited artworks. They were created by the old, middle-aged, and young generations of artists and calligraphers in Hunan Province, featuring painstaking efforts of the artists. The fine art works reflect the radical changes that have taken place in Hunan during the past 75 years since the founding of the People's Republic of China from different perspectives, and depict the ever-changing cityscape and beautiful countryside. The calligraphy works eulogize the great achievements that Hunan has made on the way of implementing the "Three Hubs and Four New Missions" strategic blueprint.

The exhibition will last until February 10, 2025, free of charge. No reservation is required. The exhibition is hosted by the Hunan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and organized by the Hunan Cultural Center.
