Changsha Metro Extends Service Hours on December 31

The Changsha Metro Group announced on December 30 that, all metro lines in Changsha will extend their operating hours to 01:00 the following day on December 31. An exception is the Hongqiao-Xiangtan North Station section of Changsha Metro Line 3 which will operate until 24:00.

On December 31, Huangxing Square and Wuyi Square Stations will flexibly implement the following passenger transport organization modes according to the command of Wuyi Business District headquarters. (Specific on-site guidance shall prevail.)

Passengers will not allowed to exit from Exit 1 and enter from Exit 2 at the Huangxing Square Station before 18:00 on December 31. The station will suspend passenger service from 18:00 to 24:00 that day, and all subway trains on Changsha Metro Line 1 will not stop at the station during that period. The station will resume normal operation after 24:00.

From 18:00 to 01:00 the following day, passengers will not allowed to exit from Exits 2, 3, and 4 at the Wuyi Square Station. Exit 3A will be closed, while Exits 5, 6, 7 and 8 are available for entry and exit. Exit 1 will be controlled according to the passenger flow.

Passengers are advised to plan their itinerary in advance. In case of difficulties, they can call Changsha Metro's 24-hour customer service hotline at 0731-86850000 or ask on-site staff for help.
