How will you welcome the year 2025? Many scenic spots in Changsha are to launch a series of festive activities, to greet the New Year with snow, fireworks, and music.

HB (Changsha) Film Town

Duration: till December 31, 2024

Activities: The town will hold an all-day immersive parade event that takes tourists into a fairytale Nordic winter. Other activities include performances, market fairs, and fireworks shows. A total of 1,000 free admission tickets are offered.

Xiangjiang Joy Ocean Park

Duration: till January 1, 2025

Activities: A series of activities for the park's 1st anniversary carnival season are ongoing, including a birthday party with a giant birthday cake, snow-making, interactions with NPCs, a wish-making ceremony, and ocean-themed lantern shows.

Changsha Window on the World

Duration: till January 1, 2025

Activities: The Window on the World has launched a snow carnival season. During the event, tourists are allowed to enter the scenic area for night tours after 17:00. After entering, each visitor will receive a bottle of spray and have fun in a snow-spraying fight. Additionally, persimmon-themed festive landscapes have been created at the scenic area.

Tongguan Kiln Ancient Town China-chic Paradise

Duration: till January 4, 2025

Activities: New Year parties are to be held until January 4, including large-scale Tang-style fireworks shows at weekends. Besides, a winter fire dance festival is ongoing at the park, offering fire-related shows such as datiehua, or the molten iron fireworks show, fire sword performance, and huohu (fire pot) performance in the air. To ring in the New Year, traditional bench dragon dance, an intangible cultural heritage item, will be staged.

Changsha Fantawild Oriental Heritage Theme Park

Duration: December 31, 2024 to January 1, 2025

Activities: The park has launched an activity themed "watching a meteor shower together" to greet the New Year. A vibrant tapestry of activities is scheduled to be staged, including meteor shower-themed fireworks shows, a balloon release ceremony, a garden party, and China-chic parades.
