Hunan Construction Contractor Secures "Good Start" in Overseas Markets

The Hunan Road and Bridge Construction Group (HNRB) recently secured an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract for the Kigali Urban Road Renovation Project in Rwanda as a foreign aid project, and won the bid for the Dangara-Guliston Road renovation and upgrading project in Tajikistan, achieving a "good start" of the new year in overseas markets.

The Kigali Urban Road Renovation Project in Rwanda is the second foreign-aid EPC contracting project undertaken by HNRB, following its support for the Peace Bridge maintenance project in Mongolia 19 years ago. Located in Kigali, capital of Rwanda, the renovation project includes 10.3 kilometers of urban roads, and is scheduled to be completed in 30 months. Upon completion, it will effectively improve the local traffic conditions, enhance transport efficiency, and facilitate economic and social development.

The Dangara-Guliston Road renovation and upgrading project is the first Green Corridor pilot project in Tajikistan, and also HNRB's second large-scale road project in that country. Located in Khatlon Region in southern Tajikistan, the project extends 48.82 kilometers, and is scheduled to be completed in 1,095 days. Upon completion, the project will effectively relieve local traffic pressure, and improve people's livelihood in surrounding areas.
